We also collect your Device ID (categorised as 'Internet or Network Activity' under CCPA) which is an anonymous alpha-numeric code that is assigned to your device to uniquely identify it.

To comply with legal requirements, such as responding to court orders or government requests, we may disclose your information. If our app is acquired or merged with another company, your information will be transferred as part of the transaction with your consent.

3. Data Security and Storage

SYour data privacy is paramount to us. We adhere to generally accepted protocols to protect data provided to us, both during transmission and once received. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Therefore, you acknowledge and accept that we cannot guarantee the protection of your personal information transmitted to our applications or customer service functions, and any such transmission is at your own risk. We will implement rigorous procedures and security measures to prevent unauthorized access.

We do not require you to create an account on our app, and therefore, we do not collect any personal data from you when you download and/or use our app. Regarding the automatic information we collect, we only collect it for operational purposes and do not retain it. All data is only stored on your device, and your data will be permanently erased when system data is deleted or our app is uninstalled.

5. Google Adsense

We use Google Adsense and show personalized ads within our barcode scanner apps to finance our development where apps are provided free of charge. Google Adsense stores user data including IP address and other personal data which can be used to identify the user's browser for the purpose of billing advertisers for ad clicks and detecting fraudulent clicks. 6. Scope of data processing

We collect and use personal information of our users to the extent necessary to provide high-quality applications and to perform our services, including the display of product and price information related to scanned barcodes. In case where we make our services available free of charge, we finance our services through personalized advertising.

7. Firebase Remote Config

We use individual app configurations for our users with the aid of Firebase Remote Config, for example to show country-specific website links. Firebase Remote Config uses Instance IDs to select configuration values to return to end-user devices. These Instance IDs will be stored up to 180 days.
